There is a lot of gathering in Die Young everything from basic ingredients for crafting items to actual inventory like bottles (some with beer), canned food, sticks, and proper weapons. Your quest log will continue to grow the more you explore and there is even an itemized To Do list that breaks it all down with very specific goals, the first being to climb out of the well.
